Inaugural ‘NAK Week of Giving’ kicks off

February 23, 2026

Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. (NAK) proudly announces the launch of its inaugural NAK Week of Giving, a nationwide fundraising initiative taking place Feb. 23–28, anchored around the fraternity’s Founders Day celebration. The week-long campaign brings together brothers across generations to celebrate NAK’s history, honor the vision of its founders, and invest in the future of the organization.

NAK Week of Giving represents more than a fundraising effort — it is a collective demonstration of carnalismo, service, and lifelong brotherhood. Through storytelling, chapter spotlights, and collective giving, the campaign reinforces the bonds that unite more than 2,500 brothers across 20+ chapters nationwide while strengthening the foundation for continued growth.

NAK Week of Giving: Feb. 23-28, 2026.

Supporting brotherhood — and your chapter

During NAK Week of Giving, brothers and supporters are invited to donate to the chapters and funds that have shaped their NAK journey. A unique feature of this campaign allows donors to use their chapter-specific coupon code, ensuring that 80% of each donation goes directly back to the selected chapter. For example, if you belong to the Lambda Chapter, please insert LAMBDANAK in the coupon code section. The remaining 20% of donations will go back to national communication infrastructure and operation efforts.

Funds raised will directly support:

  • Scholarships for brothers
  • Mentorship and leadership development programs
  • Community service and outreach initiatives
  • Chapter operations and member experiences

This model empowers alumni and active members alike to give back while creating immediate and meaningful impact at the local level.

“NAK Week of Giving allows every hermano to give back in a way that creates immediate impact,” said Salvador Gallegos, Associate Vice President (AVP) of Finance for NAK. “When brothers invest in their chapters, they’re investing in future leaders, stronger communities, and the long-term success of our fraternity.”

A week of friendly competition and collective impact

NAK Week of Giving also introduces a spirited element of chapter pride, as chapters rally their networks to maximize participation and impact. Throughout the week, brothers are encouraged to reconnect, share their NAK stories, and invite fellow hermanos to contribute.

With one week to give, chapters across the country will compete to see who rises to the top — demonstrating which brotherhood community can mobilize the strongest support.

Final results will be announced on Feb. 28 during the NAK Founders Ball in San Luis Obispo, California, closing out the campaign with a celebration of generosity, unity, and fraternity pride.

Honoring the past, investing in the future

Founded on principles of academic excellence, cultural awareness, and community service, Nu Alpha Kappa continues to grow through the commitment of its members. The inaugural NAK Week of Giving reflects the fraternity’s ongoing mission: to uplift future generations while honoring the legacy built by those who came before.

By participating, brothers reaffirm that NAK is not only a collegiate experience — it is a lifelong commitment to brotherhood and impact.
