Start a Nu Alpha Kappa Chapter: Build a Legacy of Brotherhood

Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. (NAK) welcomes your interest in starting a chapter on your campus, bringing our mission of academics, culture, and brotherhood to a new community. As a leading Latino-based fraternity with over 30 years of impact, NAK has grown to 28 chapters across California, Colorado, and Nevada, empowering men to become leaders of honor, integrity, and service. Starting a NAK chapter offers you the opportunity to create a lasting legacy, foster lifelong connections, and make a difference through community service and cultural pride. Our team is dedicated to guiding you through every step of the expansion process to ensure your chapter thrives.

Why Start a NAK Chapter?

Establishing a Nu Alpha Kappa chapter on your campus means building a community rooted in Men of Mind, Men of Culture, and Men of Pride. Since our founding in 1988 at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, NAK has prioritized quality over quantity, creating high-impact chapters that uplift their campuses and communities. By starting a chapter, you’ll:
  • Foster Brotherhood: Create a supportive network of like-minded men committed to academic excellence, cultural heritage, and lifelong bonds.
  • Drive Community Impact: Lead initiatives like NAKland, a free El Día de los Niños carnival, and the National Bone Marrow Drive Registry with NMDP, addressing critical needs in the Hispanic/Latino community.
  • Develop Leadership: Gain mentorship and resources from NAK’s National Board and alumni to build skills in organization, event planning, and leadership.
  • Leave a Legacy: Join a network of over 20 thriving chapters, from UC San Diego to CSU Sacramento, and contribute to NAK’s mission for decades to come.
  • Our expansion process is designed to support you, ensuring your chapter embodies NAK’s values of honor, integrity, discipline, excellence, and selflessness.
